Job Description

Schedule is Tuesday through Saturday 10-6:30

Fast-growing Transportation company - a specialist in the Last Mile Home Delivery field, seeks an experienced Dispatcher with expertise in Final Mile and with a strong skill set in operations, dispatching, and customer service. This position will assist the Operations Manager at the site operation and will be responsible for dispatching, scanning, handling returns, working with contractors and responding to client and customer requests.

Responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Dispatching;

Assist in monitoring operations such as early am load outs, and routes;

Assisting the Customer Service Team in investigations and resolutions to customer or shipper issues;

Collaborate with other the Operations Manager, and staff members and client to achieve goals, and objectives

Skills + Qualifications:

Demonstrated problem-solving, excellent verbal, written, communication skills and excellent listening skills.

Ability to work in a team environment on multiple projects while effectively communicating in a professional manner with all levels.

Must possess both a strong personality and a desire to help.

Must have previous dispatch experience

Must have excellent Customer Service skills

Must be computer proficient and comfortable with Word, Excel, Outlook and willing to learn our software.
