What You'll Do

As a CNC Machinist, you will program, set up, and operate CNC machinery to manufacture precision components while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

? Review work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining requirements.

? Interpret geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T).

? Set up and operate CNC machines efficiently and accurately.

? Adjust tool offsets, compensations, registers, and machine settings.

? Calculate dimensions and machining requirements using shop mathematics.

? Install and adjust tooling, collets, fixtures, attachments, and work-holding devices.

? Load raw materials and position stock safely and accurately.

? Verify machine setups through first-piece inspections and measurements.

? Perform turning, facing, grooving, drilling, threading, knurling, and cutting operations.

? Inspect completed parts using precision measuring equipment.

? Troubleshoot machining issues and identify equipment malfunctions.

? Complete production reports and quality documentation accurately.

? Monitor inventory needs and coordinate material requirements.

? Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

? Continuously develop technical skills through training and learning opportunities.
