Original job description

Summary At Apple, we work every day to build products that enrich people's lives. The Platforms Apps & Technologies EPM team is seeking an experienced manager to lead a team of Engineering Project Managers responsible for driving delivery across Apple's core developer and user-facing frameworks. You'll have an opportunity to partner and build strong relationships in collaboration with engineering, design, and program management organizations across Apple. If you are excited by the opportunity to lead a team responsible for the frameworks that sit at the heart of Apple's software platform, please apply!

Description As the Manager of this team, you will hire, lead, coach, inspire, and develop a team of five Engineering Project Managers partnering with framework engineering organizations across Swift Platform Experience, Cocoa, and Accessibility. These teams build the foundational APIs and frameworks - from SwiftUI and UIKit to AppIntents and CoreGraphics - that developers inside and outside Apple rely on to deliver world-class experiences across every Apple platform.

The programs this team drives are large, complex, and highly cross-functional. Your EPMs will work at the intersection of framework engineering, design, first-party app teams, and system components - driving alignment across organizations to ship features that are adopted by millions of third-party developers and that define the quality bar for Apple's own apps. This is a high-impact role: the frameworks these teams own are central to how Apple Intelligence, accessibility, and platform experiences come to life for users worldwide.

You will also collaborate with program management leaders across Platforms Apps & Technologies and the broader SWE organization to continuously improve how we plan and deliver framework software at scale.

Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of project management experience 2+ years of experience managing project managers Demonstrated ability to drive large, complex cross-functional software programs spanning multiple engineering organizations and release cycles Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to hire, develop, coach, and inspire high-performing teams Solid analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and schedule rigor Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive alignment across engineering, design, and program management stakeholders Experience leading process improvement initiatives and building scalable program management practices BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Apple's developer platform and framework ecosystem (UIKit, SwiftUI, AppKit, Foundation, etc.) Experience managing programs that intersect with on-device AI or machine learning features Background in accessibility, developer experience, or platform software a plus
