We are tasked with driving cellular radio technologies addressing GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5G NR and upcoming 6G standards. You will work closely with Platform Architecture, RFIC and PMU design teams, and suppliers to assess, scope, and ultimately drive Cellular RF technology innovation to meet the challenges of next generation wireless products. Occasional travel including international may be required.

Responsibilities

Understand and translate complex use cases and derive corresponding implementation requirements for RF algorithms, RFICs and RFFW for optimum user experience. Analyze different RF transceiver architecture options for optimum KPIs such as power consumption and area. Analyze RF simulation & measurement results to identify trade-offs and propose system level improvements.

Minimum Qualifications BS and a minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience You have experience in deriving implementation requirements based on high level system requirements. You have strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with a proven ability to work across diverse, cross-functional teams to solve highly complex, multi-disciplinary problems. You should never be satisfied with your knowledge so continuous study, research and collaboration is needed from you to grow. You have in-depth knowledge of cellular radio standards (GSM, UMTS, LTE, 5GNR and upcoming 6G), regulatory, and carrier requirements including their implications on overall radio architectures and RF system design. You have experience in RF performance criteria and concepts such as EIRP, TRP, noise figure, sensitivity/desense, phase noise, EVM, spectral mask, spurious, harmonics, intermodulation, s-parameters, Smith charts, and tuning networks. You have experience in RF line-up analysis, AGC and TPC concepts, calibration and compensation methods.
