This role is centered on validating the accuracy of hazardous materials classifications for a large volume of items. The analyst will review item data, check the work of a third-party vendor, and ensure classification accuracy meets a 95% threshold. This position requires an adaptable and intelligent individual who can contribute to evolving processes and the journey from manual review to automation. Key Responsibilities - Validate the accuracy of hazmat classifications provided by a third-party vendor. - Perform sample-based reviews of item data sets, following established methodologies like the ANSI method. - Analyze and review high-risk and low-risk product groups to ensure compliance and data integrity. - Utilize a Tableau dashboard to access and review data for offline analysis. - Contribute to the process of integrating vendor data back into the main catalog. - Support the program manager for the marketplace returns team in efforts related to hazmat classification. Required Qualifications Experience: - Demonstrated experience as a business analyst or in a related capacity. - Background in transportation or a related field with subject matter expertise in the area. Technical Skills: - Proficiency with Tableau for dashboard review and data analysis. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in Compliance Risk Management, Governance and Compliance Strategy, or Policy Development. - Experience in Compliance Management or upholding Ethical Standards and Conduct.
