Looking to fill one opening for a temporary, full time chef. Position requires 5 years of experience working in Cantonese cuisine restaurant, experience in developing recipes and planning menus. Position is full time, 11AM-2PM, 4:30PM-10PM, Monday to Saturday. Starting wage is $28.57 per hour.

Employee will be expected to fulfill the following duties:

Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and other food preparation workers

Develop recipes and determine how to present dishes

Plan menus and ensure the quality of meals

Inspect supplies, equipment, and work areas for cleanliness and functionality

Order and maintain an inventory of food and supplies

Prepare and cook meals

Monitor sanitation practices and follow kitchen safety standards

Check the freshness of food and ingredients

Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing

wages due

Employee will be paid every two weeks

Employer will make all deductions from the worker's paycheck required by law

Employee will be provided with or reimbursed for transportation and subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the

employer

Employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government, incurred by the Employee

Employer will provide to the worker, without charge or deposit charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the duties assigned

Employer guarantees to provide work for at least 75% of the total workdays specified in the job order across each 6 or 12-week period. If we fail to meet this, we will pay the difference for the shortfall in hours.
