We are Anokiwave – an industry leader in the commercialization of phased array ICs throughout the world. Our IC technology powers millimeter-wave 5G, SATCOM, Aerospace & Defense. We are looking for an ambitious, conscientious, and thorough Principal Digital Implementation Engineer. As a key contributor, you will work in a fast-paced highly co-operative environment with a world-class product development team. You will play an instrumental role in the growth and excellence of Anokiwave and our commitment to satisfying our customers.

All aspects of physical implementation will be part of your daily agenda. In this capacity you will be part of a small, dynamic digital team that is responsible for design, verification, and implementation of sophisticated mixed-signal ICs with growing, specialized digital content.

You will be responsible for all silicon implementation activities such as:

• Floor planning
• Synthesis
• Place and Route
• Optimizations of area, power and timing
• Solving congestion issues
• Full chip timing closure (CTS, SI, STA etc.)
• Physical verification - DRC and LVS
• Investigation of new silicon technologies

Due to the wide range of work performed by this team, you may also have opportunities in realms less traditional for the backend engineer, such as:

• DFT
• Functional Verification
• IP Analysis
• FPGA Implementation
• Mixed Signal Simulation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in backend tools and flows (i.e. Genus, Innovus, Tempus, Conformal, Voltus)
• STA Timing closure
• Equivalence Checking and ECO Flow
• DRC / LVS
• IR Drop Analysis
• Preferred Qualification: 10+ years of experience in backend tools and flows
