The City of Andover is seeking a dedicated, experienced Fire Technician to join our team!
This full-time position combines emergency response, fire suppression, emergency medical services, equipment maintenance, fire prevention, and community outreach. Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Firefighter I & II certifications
- Hazardous Materials Operations certification
- Active NREMT (Emergency Medical Technician) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of active firefighting experience (full-time, part-time, or paid-on-call/volunteer in active status)
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
