SERVER (Dietary Aide) Pay: $20.00 / hour Shifts: Weekends 11am-8pm, Weekdays -various shifts avail from 7am- 8pm

Summary We are seeking dependable service orientated food service worker to join our culinary services team. This role involves performing routine food service tasks in the kitchen dining room and resident areas to ensure a safe clean and pleasant dining experience for our residence part-time 15 to 29 hours per week.

Setting: Assisted Living Residence Population: Elderly and Adults Location: New Rochelle, NY

Key responsibilities:

Maintain a friendly inefficient service attitude towards residence, families and coworkers. Set up, assigned stations and prepare hot cold food areas. Brew coffee filled beverages and stock, condiments, paper goods, and China Prepare portion and assemble and label resident meals. Serve meals and assist with special functions as directed. Maintain dining room, cleanliness through sweeping and vacuum Clean tables, counters, and kitchen equipment. Sort, silverware and restock food and supplies. Remove trash and transport to disposal areas. Adhere to sanitation procedures and safety regulations parentheses OSHA, local state, federal,. Attend meetings and in-service trainings. Maintain professional appearance and punctuality.

Require requirements:

High school diploma or GED required. Serve safe certification preferred - but not required Prefer a minimum of six months of experience in food industry (will consider less experience) Patience and care working with elderly adults Ability to work in a fast paced team, orientated environment. Annual Physical, Proof of Immunizations and recent PPD or TB Test

Physical demands:

Ability to stand walk, bend lift, push pull and carry items throughout shift. Frequent use of hands for grasping sorting and cleaning. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds medium too heavy work Exposure to fluctuating temperatures, noise and kitchen related hazards
