1st shift Production Supervisor

Description AMTEC has an opening for a 1st Shift Production Supervisor.

POSITION SUMMARY: Duties of the production supervisor includes directing and supervising employees for production operations to meet delivery deadlines. This is a hands on position with responsibility for scrap and efficiency rates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervise employees on the production floor
• Conduct annual reviews for employees performance
• Monitor and prioritize work flow of production to meet deadlines
• Monitor all health and safety standards, customer requirements and company standards are being met
• Provide direction and schedule to production employees each day.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

POSITION TYPE:

This is a Salary non-exempt full-time position.

TRAVEL:

Travel (less than 10% of work time).

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have the ability to problem solve and maintain equipment.
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc).
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Associates Degree and/or 2 years comparable experience is required.

MUST have a BATFE approved Employee Possessor License.
