Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Part-Time DSP – 3 Days/Week | Community Activities | Camden County Ameriwell Care is seeking a friendly, energetic Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to a 25-year-old male in Camden County, NJ. Schedule: Approximately 3 days per week, a few hours per day. The individual enjoys music lessons and community activities and is looking for a DSP who can help him get out of the house, stay active, and participate in activities he enjoys.

What We're Looking For:

• Moderate to high energy
• Friendly, encouraging, and engaging personality
• Comfortable motivating and encouraging the individual to participate in activities
• Must have a valid driver's license and be able to drive
• Dependable and comfortable providing one-on-one community support
• DSP/IDD experience preferred

Responsibilities:

• Drive and accompany the individual to music lessons and other activities
• Encourage community participation and independence
• Provide positive companionship and support
• Complete required service documentation
