Position Summary

Vector Fleet Management, an Amerit Fleet Solutions Company, is an American based, privately held company that has been in the fleet maintenance business for over 30 years. Vector Fleet provides onsite, customized fleet maintenance solutions for clients in numerous states across the U.S. Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, we manage multiple satellite operations at various contract sites across the country. We are currently accepting applications for qualified Automotive Porters to support our customer’s fleet located in the Lauderdale Lakes, FL area! Compensation: Competitive Hourly Pay - PAID WEEKLY, EVERY FRIDAY! $17.00-20.00/hr

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00AM-2:30PM OR Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Automotive Porters should have a minimum of one year work experience.
• Must have the ability to perform shop cleaning, vehicle moving, and parts pickup.
• Acceptable driving record and pass drug test and background check
• Solid organizational and people skills

Working Conditions:

• Exposure to heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
• Exposure to considerable amounts of dust, diesel fumes and noise.
• Exposure to chemicals, oils, greases or other irritants
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
• Ability to move and position heavy objects
• Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to repair vehicles
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
