Information Systems Engineer Senior

Role Overview The Platform Automation Engineer Senior is responsible for designing, implementing, automating, and supporting our cloud and on-premises infrastructure platforms. The engineer should have strong Automation, Cloud, Linux, and Windows experience. Work Arrangement

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for Cloud, Linux, Windows, and other platforms
• Create and manage Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using Ansible, Terraform, and ARM/Bicep templates
• Automate server provisioning, decommissioning, patching, rebooting, and validation for Cloud and on premises
• Develop reusable automation workflows, scripts, and playbooks using AAP, PowerShell, Python, and Bash/Shell
• Troubleshoot OS, networking, storage, and performance issues
• Support enterprise disaster recovery solutions and participate in the DR tests
• Ensure infrastructure compliance with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC, NIST, and CIS Standards
• Understanding of DevOps, Git, JIRA, and CI/CD pipeline usages and best practices
• Support on-call rotation

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or related field
• At least four to seven (4 – 7) years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks in enterprise environments
• Strong proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and data lakehouse architecture
• Deep understanding of Azure ecosystem – including Azure Data Lake, ARO, AKS, Key Vault, Azure Ansible and Azure DevOps
• Experience with CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps
• Working knowledge of pyspark, Collibra, Power BI, and Tableau integration workflows
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
• Excellent problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
• Experience with Terraform or other IaC tools for Azure
• Familiarity with Delta Live Tables, Unity Catalog and MLflow
