We're hiring several Behavioral Technicians to work in a classroom setting with children who may have special needs or learning disabilities. This is not just a job but an opportunity for personal growth and learning as you contribute to the education of these children.

Job Details:

• Location: Atascadero, CA
• Age groups: Elementary through High school
• As needed to cover call-outs, must work at least one shift per week
• Monday through Friday, 12-30 hours/week
• Behavior Technician (BT): $25/hour
• ASAP start
• Benefits available if you work at least 15 hours/week
• Requirements: 1- High school diploma or GED equivalent 2- 1 year of behavioral experience for BT
• Must be comfortable working in a special education classroom and assisting with toileting/diapering

Requirements

The School Aide is an individual who works with students requiring instructional, and/or behavioral assistance under the supervision of the special education department, teacher and/or supervising designee. The School Aide may also provide support services to assist students with personal, physical mobility and therapeutic care needs, as established by a rehabilitation health practitioner, social worker or other health care professional.

Minimum Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required Comply with all relevant professional standards of practice Current CPR if applicable TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age
