Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Ambient Recruiting is partnered with a local innovative packaging company in Holland, MI who is actively looking to hire a qualified Machine Operator . This company provides a variety of packaging solutions for the wine and spirit industry, beauty and personal care industry, e-commerce, food, electronic, automotive and manufacturing sectors. The candidate will take packing materials from the machine, glue boxes, stack products, and more. Machine Operator Benefits: - Pay: $16.50 - Holiday pay after completing 480 hours - Bonus - Friendly Environment - Opportunity to move up within the company - Temp to hire Machine Operator Worker Responsibilities: - Operate machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and safety guidelines. - Assemble components - Monitor machine operations and adjust as necessary to maintain quality standards. - Conduct routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance. - Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and timelines. - Maintain a clean and organized work area within factory setting. - Follow all safety protocols and report any issues or malfunctions immediately. - Clean the glue injectors - Print labels and enter information into the computer - Other duties as assigned Machine Operator Qualifications: - Must be comfortable using computer - Attention to detail with a focus on quality control during production tasks. - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. - Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration. - Stand, twist, and bend - Ability to lift 30 pounds - Pass a background check/drug test - Be able to follow written and verbal instructions - Great attendance and positive attitude Ambient Recruiting - an entirely employee-owned company - is the largest independent employer in West Michigan.
