Description

The Quality Assurance Engineer (QAE) serves as a key operational and technical partner within AWS Data Center Engineering (DCE), d supporting the delivery of large-scale hyperscale data center design and construction projects. We work on the most challenging problems, with thousands of variables impacting the supply chain and we’re looking for talented people who want to help.

You’ll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. You’ll collaborate with people across AWS to help us deliver the highest standards for safety and security while providing seemingly infinite capacity at the lowest possible cost for our customers. And you’ll experience an inclusive culture that welcomes bold ideas and empowers you to own them to completion.

Serve as a primary operational owner and subject matter expert (SME) for Design Engineering- Design Management platform workflows, governance mechanisms, milestone routing, approval tracking, reporting dashboards, and engineering project coordination processes across multiple regions and stakeholder groups.
Drive standardization and continuous improvement initiatives by developing scalable workflows, templates, governance mechanisms, reporting structures, and automation opportunities across engineering and construction management systems including Smartsheet, Salesforce, Procore, ACC, and related project management platforms.
Mentor and support onboarding of junior QAEs while promoting engineering quality standards, operational consistency, customer obsession, and a culture of high standards across the organization.
