Waterjet Machine Operator -- Amatech Inc. Location: Columbus, OH 1^st^ Shift -- 6am to 4:30pm M-Th / 2^nd^ Shift -- 4pm to 2:30 am M-Th Amatech is looking for experienced Waterjet Machine Operators to join our team! We are looking for candidates who have experience and good expertise with waterjets. This person should also possess qualities such as being a team player, good communication skills, attention to detail and mechanical aptitude. What You'll Do, Primary Responsibilities: • Machine Setup / Programming / Operation: Reading drawings, loading programs, setting parameters (pressure and speed), and loading materials. Starting/stopping the machine, monitoring the cutting process, and making real-time adjustments. • Quality Control: Inspecting cut parts with precision tools (calipers, gauges) to ensure they meet specifications and perform necessary adjustments. • Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Performing routine checks, cleaning, and preventative maintenance on the machine with the ability to change machine parts when needed. • Documentation: Assist in completing production logs, parts inventory, and other required paperwork. • Safety & Housekeeping: Following all safety protocols and keeping work area clean and organized.
