Credit Administrator

Credit Administrator – Equipment Finance Altius Search Group is recruiting a Credit Administrator for an equipment finance company. This position supports the credit team by organizing incoming submissions, preparing files for review, maintaining reporting, and assisting with preliminary credit screenings. This opportunity may appeal to someone with credit support, lending operations, financial services, or administrative experience who enjoys detailed work and keeping a process organized.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the incoming credit queue and track submissions throughout the review process.
• Review files for completeness and follow up on missing financial statements, tax returns, equipment information, and other required documentation.
• Organize and maintain accurate credit files so analysts have the information needed to evaluate transactions.
• Maintain workflow reports and track outstanding items and submission status.
• Complete preliminary credit screenings and high-level reviews using established guidelines.
• Assist with data entry, financial spreading, background searches, and other credit preparation activities as experience permits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in equipment finance or commercial lending is required, including underwriting, credit support, loan administration, lending operations, or credit-related administrative support.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple submissions, follow up on outstanding items, and maintain accurate records.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfort working with financial information, spreadsheets, and electronic files.
• Equipment finance or commercial lending experience is required.

Compensation

Anticipated base salary of $55,000–$70,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
