Senior Software Developer needed by Alphonso Inc. in Denver, CO. Design, architect, develop, test, and maintain highly scalable, distributed software systems and backend services supporting large-scale advertising technology platforms; Lead the design and optimization of complex data pipelines processing high-volume advertising event data; Perform advanced data modeling, transformation, and analytics to generate actionable insights for campaign performance, targeting, attribution, and reporting; Develop and enhance data models, algorithms, and system components supporting real-time bidding, audience segmentation, and campaign measurement, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, performance optimization, and horizontal scalability; Drive architectural improvements and enforce best practices for reliability, observability, deployment automation, and system resilience across distributed environments; Mentor junior engineers, conduct design and code reviews, and contribute to long-term technical strategy and roadmap planning; Maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, data flows, deployment processes, and operational runbooks; Proactively monitor production systems and lead root-cause analysis and issue resolution. Req. Bachelor's in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related. 1yr in Software Engineer or related. Experience of: Designing and developing distributed systems and backend services for large-scale data processing applications; Working with advertising technology platforms, including real-time bidding (RTB), audience targeting, campaign measurement, attribution systems, or large-scale advertising data processing; Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design; Programming languages such as Javascript, Golang, or Python; Distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark), messaging systems (e.g., Kafka), and relational databases (e.g., MySQL); Working with large-scale event data, including building data pipelines and processing high-volume datasets for analytics and reporting; and Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
