Senior Project Management Consultant - Municipal Programs

AlphaGov (Casa Moon LLC d/b/a AlphaGov) delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.

We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. This opportunity is contingent upon contract award and final staffing approval. Permission will be requested before including a candidate's name or resume in a proposal.

AlphaGov is seeking a Senior Project Management Consultant to lead city capital and program-management engagements end to end, from mobilization and work planning through delivery, quality control, and executive-ready closeout.

What you'll do:

• Lead municipal capital and program-management engagements across scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality
• Translate city priorities into practical work plans, governance routines, decision logs, and deliverables
• Coordinate multidisciplinary consultants, client departments, and community or stakeholder inputs
• Prepare status reporting, issue resolution, and executive briefings for public-agency leadership
• Contribute municipal project-management qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when permissioned

Required:

• Hands-on project or program management for city, county, or other public-agency capital programs
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams, milestones, budgets, risks, and client deliverables end to end
• Comfortable as a 1099 / project-based collaborator with travel as needed for client on-sites

Nice to have:

• Capital-improvement-program, infrastructure, facilities, or municipal modernization experience
• PMP, CCM, or comparable project-management credential
• Prior Columbus or Ohio public-agency consulting
