Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity As a leader in digital financial services, our customer and employee experiences run on data. Our analytics community has hundreds of analytics professionals across Ally in communities focused on business analytics, data science, R, Python, Power BI and more and continues to grow every day. As you read this, our Technology and Digital organization is deploying our new Cloud Computing platform to accelerate and expand our digital capability.

We're looking for a passionate analytics professional with great communication skills for our West Regional Business Center. This person will execute quantitative analysis and problem solving to develop in-depth business-relevant insights, scenario based assumptions and forward-looking analysis. Utilizes data from databases, internal reports, market/business trends, and/or financial statements in analysis. Plays integral role in strategy development and associated risk management. They will also mentor developing analytics professionals and connect with other analytics teams to build capability. The Work Itself

• 3–5+ years of experience in Auto Finance, Consumer Finance, analytics, strategy, or a related business-focused analytical role.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to dive deeply into data while maintaining focus on broader business priorities and outcomes.
• A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to independently identify opportunities, take initiative, and move work forward with limited direction.
• Strong business judgment and intellectual curiosity, with the ability to navigate ambiguity, think creatively, and develop practical solutions to new or evolving business problems.
• Proven ability to partner effectively with leaders and teams across multiple functions and levels of the organization.
• Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships, understand stakeholder needs, and influence through insights rather than simply deliver analysis.
• Strong hands-on experience using Snowflake to pull, explore, and analyze data, with the ability to translate data into meaningful business insights, opportunities, and actionable recommendations.
• Ability to create and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and views that make information intuitive, actionable, and relevant for different business and leadership audiences.
• Experience with SAS, Python, and/or other analytical tools, with the ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
• Curiosity and willingness to adopt emerging AI and analytics tools, including Copilot, and develop practical use cases that improve efficiency, streamline manual work, and enhance how the organization uses data to make decisions.
• Demonstrated ability to learn rapidly, adapt to changing priorities, and solve problems dynamically.
• Strong storytelling, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to translate complex findings into clear, concise recommendations for business stakeholders and senior leadership.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• BS or MS in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Data Analytics, or a similar quantitative or analytical field.

Base Pay Range $85,000.00 - $150,000.00 An individual's position in the range is determined by the specific role, the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.

Incentive Compensation:

This position is eligible to participate in our annual incentive plan.
