• Valid Driver's LicenseAll candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with the AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123). This is essential for roles that require driving as part of job responsibilities.
• Access Control/Badge ExperienceCandidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management (B201). This experience is crucial for maintaining security protocols within our facilities.
• Alarm Panel ExperienceFamiliarity with alarm panel systems (B202) is required for positions that involve monitoring and responding to security alarms.
• Comfortable Using Computer or TabletCandidates must demonstrate proficiency in using computers or tablets (B204). This skill is necessary for various tasks, including data entry, communication, and reporting.
• Customer Service ExperienceA background in customer service (B219) is essential for roles that involve direct interaction with clients and customers, ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
• Loss Prevention ExperienceExperience in loss prevention (B210) is required for positions focused on safeguarding company assets and minimizing theft or loss.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Control access to the facility by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, maintaining visitor and driver logs, and directing authorized individuals to designated areas.
• Monitor truck traffic, delivery activity, and access points to help support orderly movement of personnel and goods throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site-specific procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
