Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Administration in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and help maintain an orderly environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. Your visible presence, professional communication, and customer-focused approach will help deter incidents while supporting daily operations. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying identification, visitor credentials, delivery appointments, and authorization for entry and exit.
• Monitor access points, vehicle gates, and loading areas; document visitor, contractor, and driver activity according to site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, parking areas, and shipping and receiving zones to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
