Job Description

As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Monmouth, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Security Professional at a food and beverage location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor visitor activity, and help support a secure environment. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Join a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor logs, and control entry and exit of personnel, contractors, vendors, and deliveries in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related matters according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, parking areas, facility grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and access-control observations accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
