Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

• Access Control/Badge Experience
• Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with access control systems and badge management. This includes understanding how to issue, revoke, and manage access badges for employees and visitors.
• Alarm Panel Experience
• Candidates should have experience working with alarm panels, including knowledge of system operations, troubleshooting, and responding to alarms. This experience is crucial for maintaining the safety and security of our facilities.
• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet
• Candidates must be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks. This includes navigating software applications, managing emails, and utilizing digital communication tools effectively.
• Customer Service Experience
• Candidates should possess a strong background in customer service. This includes experience in handling inquiries, resolving issues, and providing support to clients or customers in a professional manner.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor and control access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct authorized personnel according to site procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized entry; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Document incidents, access-control activity, and unusual conditions in clear, accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
