What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to store customers, employees, vendors, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for security-related concerns, suspicious behavior, hazardous conditions, and policy violations; report observations through required channels.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable procedures.
- Maintain awareness of retail operations and assist with access control, traffic flow, and coordination with store personnel and/or responding emergency services as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
- Possess Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
