Job Description

As a Security Guard Full Time Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to customers, employees, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the grocery retail location, including sales floors, receiving areas, parking areas, and the building perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following applicable post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Maintain required armed post qualifications, carry authorized equipment in accordance with policy, and complete accurate incident reports and daily activity documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
