Original job description
Our client, an early-stage AI-driven healthcare company, is hiring a Deployment Strategist to join their team in New York. The successful candidate will own customer deployments from initial kick-off through go-live and beyond, while also working closely with customers, engineering and the founding team to translate complex healthcare workflows into scalable, AI-powered solutions.
Responsibilities
• Lead customer implementations end-to-end, from initial discovery and kickoff through UAT, go-live and post-launch support.
• Run discovery sessions to understand customer scheduling rules, clinic workflows, referral processes, provider configurations and operational requirements.
• Build project plans, manage timelines and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver successful, on-time implementations.
• Configure the platform across assistant settings, scheduling workflows, telephony routing and organizational requirements.
• Serve as the primary customer point of contact, leading kickoff meetings, regular check-ins and stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate UAT, manage issue resolution and oversee production cutovers and launch-day activities.
• Own the customer relationship post-launch, including regular account reviews, QBRs, issue triage and account health monitoring.
• Identify opportunities for account growth and communicate relevant expansion signals to the sales team.
• Turn customer feedback and operational insights into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Work closely with engineering to improve implementation tooling, automation and self-service capabilities.
Skillset
• At least 3 years of experience in software implementation, technical onboarding, customer success or customer-facing project management within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Proven track record of managing complex implementations, coordinating stakeholders and delivering projects through to successful go-live.
• Strong technical aptitude with APIs, configuration platforms and technical documentation, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams, priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• Experience serving as a primary customer contact and building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence leading customer meetings, documenting requirements and managing expectations.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to keep multiple projects progressing without losing sight of key priorities.
• A strong sense of ownership and bias towards action, with a willingness to get hands-on and solve problems independently.
• Experience working with healthcare organizations, clinical operations or healthcare technology is highly desirable.
• Comfortable working in an early-stage, fast-paced environment where processes are continuously evolving and being improved.
Benefits
• Salary: $140k - $180k.
• Equity.
• Comprehensive healthcare coverage.
