Original job description

Allata is a global consulting and technology services firm founded in 2016, with 350+ employees across the US, India, and Argentina. We partner with some of the world's largest enterprises to move AI from idea to production - building intelligent agents, data foundations, and governance frameworks that scale.

Our teams work at the intersection of strategy, engineering, data, and design, helping clients modernize their technology, unlock data value, and create meaningful digital experiences. At Allata, you'll join an agile, cross-functional team that works closely alongside clients - making a real impact and building lasting partnerships.

At Allata we are looking for a Solution Architect Manager to lead the architecture and delivery of an ERP modernization program for a large enterprise client. Our client is replacing an end-of-life ERP platform and moving order activation, fulfillment, and licensing logic out of the ERP and into an in-house application. Work starts on pieces that sit outside the ERP and can be built independently of the new platform. You will be Allata's senior presence on the engagement and lead an embedded team of architects, engineers, and analysts.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead discovery sessions to document current-state processes and how sales and operations platforms support them.
Design target-state architectures and event-driven integration patterns that replace invoice-triggered workflows.
Turn functional requirements into technical requirements engineers can build from, and explain technical decisions in plain language.
Plan incremental, unit-by-unit rollout across business units running different CRM and ERP platforms.
Review designs and guide decisions during delivery so the build matches the architecture.
Define an AI-augmented development approach with review standards, quality gates, and UAT.
Lead the embedded team, including staffing recommendations, work allocation, and quality of delivery.
Own program outcomes: scope, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.
Build trusted relationships with client technology leaders and identify where other Allata service lines can add value.
Mentor consultants and keep Allata leadership informed on engagement health and financials.

Requirements:

10+ years in software engineering and architecture, including 4+ years as a lead solution architect or equivalent.
Manager-level consulting or senior leadership experience, with a record of leading client engagements with limited oversight.
Experience leading architects, engineers, or analysts in a client setting.
Track record of owning program-level outcomes on complex, multi-system initiatives.
Experience engaging director, VP, and C-level stakeholders.
Hands-on experience with .NET applications, event-driven architecture and messaging platforms, ERP/CRM/financial system integrations, and modernizing legacy systems.
Experience turning ambiguous business processes into clear architecture and requirements.
Fluent English and strong overlap with US business hours.

Nice to have:

ERP replacement or financial-systems transformation experience (Dynamics 365 a plus).
Experience with order-to-cash, licensing, subscription, or entitlement platforms.
Familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics CRM.
Multi-brand or post-acquisition environments.
Hands-on use of AI-assisted development tools

Soft Skills

Self-directed, with sound decisions in ambiguous situations.
Strong written and verbal communication with business, product, and engineering audiences.
Empathy and respect, promoting a collaborative team environment.
Dedication to continuous learning and development, for yourself and for others.

At Allata, we value differences.

Allata is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.

Allata makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, creed, religion, age, ancestry, national origin, veteran status, sex, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability or any other legally protected category.

This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including but not limited to, recruiting, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leaves of absence, compensation, and training.
