Allpro Health Staffing & Consulting is seeking an experienced Systems Architect for a long-term, 30-month contract opportunity in Albany, New York. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, enterprise application development, database technologies, and IT infrastructure management. The Systems Architect will be responsible for evaluating enterprise technology solutions, designing and implementing scalable and secure systems, ensuring architectural alignment across projects, and supporting strategic technology planning. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, integration platforms, service-oriented systems, cloud technologies, and infrastructure performance management.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain enterprise architecture strategies, standards, and roadmaps.
• Oversee enterprise solutions, software licensing agreements, procurement activities, Requests for Information (RFIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), proposal development, and enterprise budgets.
• Design and implement system integrations across disparate mid-tier platforms, including Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS), Identity and Access Management (IAM), cloud platforms, and API management solutions.
• Design, develop, implement, and support enterprise applications and service-oriented systems.
• Evaluate Oracle and other enterprise database platforms to support organizational data requirements.
• Review proposed projects for architectural impact and provide architecture assurance to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Research and evaluate software, hardware, emerging technologies, and industry trends to support enterprise portfolio assessments and roadmap development.
• Perform infrastructure capacity planning, performance management, and related technical functions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, developers, infrastructure teams, and business leaders to ensure effective technology planning and implementation.
• Recommend architectural improvements that enhance system scalability, security, interoperability, reliability, and performance.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
• 7 years of enterprise architecture experience, including management of enterprise solutions, software license agreements, procurement, RFIs, RFPs, proposal development, and enterprise budgets.
• 7 years of systems integration experience involving multiple disparate mid-tier platforms, such as Enterprise Service Bus (ESB), Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solutions such as MuleSoft, Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms, cloud platforms, and API management platforms.
• 7 years of experience with data systems utilizing Oracle and other leading database platforms, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL (Postgres), or IBM Db2.
• 7 years of experience designing and implementing service-oriented systems.
• 7 years of experience reviewing projects for overall architectural impact and providing architecture assurance.
• 7 years of experience researching and evaluating software and hardware products and industry trends to support enterprise portfolio assessments and enterprise roadmap development.
• 7 years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting enterprise applications.
• 7 years of experience in infrastructure capacity planning, performance management, and related functions.
