Security Officer - Armed & Unarmed

• Security Officer (Armed & Unarmed) Allpoints Security and Detective, Inc. offers clients the highest quality security services available. We provide our clients with a wide range of services including patrol, mobile, on-site security, exclusive events, and personal protection. Full-time, Part-time, Temporary Positions All Shifts Available

Security Officer duties may include:

• Standing, observing, customer service
• Maintain grooming and uniform standards at all times
• Adhere to company standards while interacting with the public, clients, and emergency responders
• Ability to work independently or as part of a small group to resolve urgent issues
• Process-oriented with high attention to detail, and solve a problem quickly providing precise/clear information while working under minimum supervision.

Qualifications

• Eligibility to work in the United States
• Excellent interpersonal and written skills; bilingual is a plus
• Professional appearance; well groomed with no visible tattoos or piercings

Unarmed Requirements

• 18 years or older
• High school diploma (or equivalent)
• Valid drivers license
• Current Illinois state-required unarmed Permanent Employee Regulation Card (PERC) certifying security training
• Reliable form of transportation
• Basic computer and smartphone proficiency
• Ability to stand and/or walk for majority of shift
• Must be able to work in inclement weather
• Completion of 20 hour state-required unarmed security training course

Armed Requirements

• 21 years or older
• Current Illinois state-required unarmed Permanent Employee Regulation Card (PERC) certifying security training
• Not have been convicted of a felony, a sexual offense, or any crime that would question the honesty and integrity of the person
• Completion of 20 hour state-required unarmed security training course
• Completion of 20 hour state-required firearms training course

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience providing security in a corporate/private and/or public environment
• Prior military experience a plus
• Prior law enforcement experience
• Candidates that possess professional/formal training in defensive tactics, surveillance / surveillance detection
