SUMMARY: Are you passionate about networking, storage, and administration of enterprise systems? Are you an experienced Linux administrator that is looking to work on systems that have wide impact across an entire state? AHS is looking for a senior linux administrator and systems analyst (not authorized for application development) for a role administering systems for the state. This position will be a lead position within the area of Linux Administration. Specifically, management of RHEL and Oracle Unbreakable Linux implementations. May require a bachelor's or master's degree in a related area and 7+ years of experience in the field or in a related area. SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:This is a position that will work with all aspects of the systems and network area, but with a focus on linux server administration. this position will be responsible for the planning, implementation, and management of all linux server instances in our environment. currently, this includes rhel and oracle unbreakable linux. the candidate will work closely with other infrastructure staff members and also act as a backup resource on infrastructure areas such as storage and network.
