Pay: $60,000 to $90,738 annually Location: Alexandria, MN

About the job

We are hiring a Production Supervisor to lead employees in our fabrication department and help ensure safe, efficient, high-quality production. This role partners with team members and support departments to meet customer requirements, improve processes, and support employee development. The Production Supervisor is responsible for daily team leadership, scheduling support, training, and production performance.

What a Production Supervisor does

• Lead, coach, and support fabrication team members while communicating priorities and work assignments.
• Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and training to help the department meet performance goals.
• Review production schedules, customer requirements, and workflow to support on-time delivery.
• Partner with quality, engineering, sales, and other departments to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Manage employee performance, training, scheduling, and timekeeping activities.

Required

• 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
• 3+ years of leadership experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to recognize and address safety concerns.
• Ability to work flexible hours, overtime, and on-call as needed.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with frequent exposure to heat, noise, and moving machinery.

Preferred (not required)

• Associate degree in Machine Tool, Business Management, or a related field.
• Blueprint reading experience.
• Project management and continuous improvement experience.
