Original job description
AlediumHR is recruiting an Operations Manager for a growing healthcare and technology company in the medical cannabis industry. The company connects patients with licensed healthcare providers for medical cannabis evaluations through telehealth and in-person services. This position oversees daily operations and supports the expansion of its in-person clinic network. The position needs to be based in Florida, with Tampa, Orlando, or Jacksonville preferred.
You will keep clinics staffed, schedules running, and patients well served while building the processes needed to support additional locations. The role includes regular weekend clinic operations.
What you will be responsible for
Run day-to-day operations across clinic locations, ensuring each site has the staff, provider coverage, technology, and preparation needed to operate from opening through close.
Recruit, onboard, and support physicians and other providers. Maintain relationships and arrange coverage to meet patient demand across markets.
Manage clinic calendars, provider schedules, appointment availability, and scheduling configurations. Adjust capacity as demand changes.
Recruit, train, schedule, and coach clinic staff. Set clear expectations and address performance or service issues.
Lead the operational setup of new clinics and pop-up locations, including staffing, schedules, technology, workflows, and opening readiness.
Serve as the escalation point during clinic operations, including weekends. Resolve staffing, scheduling, technology, and patient issues promptly.
Improve the patient experience from booking through the completed visit. Work with clinic teams and Patient Support to address delays and recurring problems.
Create and update operating procedures, training materials, and clinic playbooks that teams can use consistently across locations.
Track patient volume, utilization, staffing, cancellations, patient feedback, and operating issues. Use the findings to improve service, efficiency, and clinic economics.
Coordinate with Provider Operations, Marketing, Patient Support, Partnerships, and leadership to align patient demand, clinic capacity, and expansion plans.
What you need to bring
Experience managing multi-site operations, healthcare or clinic operations, retail operations, or a field-based workforce.
Experience recruiting, coordinating, or managing healthcare providers or another professional or contractor workforce.
The ability to manage staffing, schedules, and operational priorities across several locations at the same time.
Experience training and coaching staff, setting expectations, and following through on performance.
Comfort using operational data to identify problems, make decisions, and measure results.
The ability to learn and use scheduling platforms, CRM systems, workforce-management tools, and healthcare technology.
Clear communication with frontline staff, providers, colleagues, and senior leadership.
Sound judgment under pressure and a willingness to get directly involved when a clinic or patient needs help.
Comfort working in the medical cannabis industry and supporting patients and providers seeking access to medical cannabis care.
Availability to support regular weekend clinic operations.
What success looks like
Clinics open prepared, with dependable staffing and provider coverage.
Patients can book appointments and complete visits with fewer delays or avoidable problems.
Clinic capacity and utilization improve, and recurring operating issues decline.
New locations launch reliably, with trained teams and practical procedures in place.
If interested and qualified, please apply for immediate consideration.
