LOCATION OF JOB: New York, NY and remote working permitted Internal Job title: Senior Software Engineer - Distributed Systems & File Sync Duties: Requiring limited supervision; Design and implement robust, scalable, and efficient synchronization features for our cross-platform desktop application. Build features and review code. Write tests, maintain infrastructure, and help define best practices. Participate in code reviews, testing, and infrastructure maintenance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand user needs and translate them into technical solutions. Troubleshoot and optimize performance across multiple platforms (macOS and Windows). Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Work entirely in TypeScript / SQL.
