Exciting Opportunity with PediaStaff: School Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Split Assignment in the Lisle, IL Area

We're currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to support students with specialized medical needs in the Lisle, IL area for the upcoming school year.
Job Description:
We are seeking one full-time RN to provide nursing support across two student assignments. This is a split-position role that may be structured in one of the following ways based on student needs and scheduling:
- Supporting one student during morning hours and a second student during afternoon hours, or
- Providing care for one student on certain days and a second student on alternate days.
The RN will work with students who have unique medical needs requiring a higher level of clinical expertise. Responsibilities include performing medical procedures that are not typically provided by classroom support staff, ensuring students can safely access their educational programs in the least restrictive environment, and actively collaborating with the educational team. The nurse will work under the supervision of the Certified School Nurse assigned to each student's program.
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Comfortable working across multiple student assignments and school locations, as needed
- CPR Certification
- Paraprofessional or Substitute Approval from ISBE
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- School-based nursing experience preferred
