This position is located in a secondary school setting and offers the opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers while providing essential healthcare support to students throughout the school day.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing services to students in accordance with physician orders, district policies, and state regulations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Assess and monitor student health needs throughout the school day
- Respond to student illnesses, injuries, and health-related emergencies
- Maintain accurate and confidential health records and documentation
- Communicate and collaborate with parents, school staff, healthcare providers, and administrators regarding student health needs
- Support the implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), 504 Plans, and Individual Healthcare Plans as appropriate
- Promote a safe and healthy learning environment for all students
Qualifications
- Active Washington Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Ability to meet Washington State background check requirements
- Previous pediatric, school-based, or community health experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
