The Opportunity As Testing Product Owner, you are accountable for maximizing the value the Product Testing team delivers by planning, prioritizing, and coordinating functional testing and field testing of new products and features from all Ag Leader product lines. You will be a champion of releasing quality products. This is a dedicated role: you are empowered to make decisions on the testing team’s priorities and will work closely with the team and with departments throughout the company to ensure Ag Leader releases high-quality products that meet the needs and improve the lives of our customers.

Responsibilities

• Own the testing team backlog, creating, communicating, and ordering items across multiple projects so it stays transparent and understood by all
• Make final decisions on testing priorities and trade-offs, with authority to accept or reject completed work against acceptance criteria
• Define testing goals and plans that ensure quality across our whole portfolio of current and future products
• Be a dedicated, available partner to the testing team in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and sprint reviews
• Gather and balance input from engineering, product management, manufacturing, and support
• Align testing with development, manufacturing, and release schedules, communicating dependencies and trade-offs
• Communicate testing status and risks, and give release-readiness recommendations to company leadership
• Work with other leaders to improve and execute our product development process

Qualifications/Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Ag or related technical field, or Associate’s degree plus 2 additional years relevant experience
• Product Owner experience in an Agile/Scrum environment; CSPO or PSPO a plus
• Proven ability to prioritize competing requests and make clear trade-off decisions
• Strong understanding of product testing methods and quality practices
• Experience with general farming practices and precision ag use in production agriculture
• 3+ years' experience in product development environment; experience with Ag Leader product development teams preferred
• Deep technical and customer-use knowledge of at least one Ag Leader or similar precision ag product line
