While prior experience in appliance repair is preferred, candidates with strong mechanical knowledge of how household appliances work and a fast learning curve are encouraged to apply. You will complete a hands-on training phase riding alongside our Lead Technician to master our specific processes. Following this phase, you must be capable of running independent service calls to diagnose and complete repairs quickly and accurately. Key Responsibilities - Perform on-site field calls to diagnose and repair major household appliances efficiently. - Ride along with the Lead Tech during training to learn company workflow, diagnostic tools, and customer service protocols. - Transition quickly to running independent routes, diagnosing problems, and completing high-quality repairs on schedule. - Communicate clearly with homeowners, providing repair estimates and offering relevant maintenance or product options (sales and customer service techniques are taught). Qualifications & Skills - Technical Knowledge: Preferred prior experience repairing appliances, or a strong fundamental understanding of how appliance mechanical and electrical systems operate. - Fast Learner: Ability to absorb technical training rapidly and apply it on live service calls. - Diagnostic Speed & Self-Motivation: High efficiency, strong problem-solving skills, and the drive to work independently without direct supervision. - Customer Skills: Friendly demeanor with good verbal communication skills to interact with residential clients. - Electrical background/multimeter experience is appreciated, but not mandatory. Job Requirements - Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record. - Ability to pass a post-offer background check and drug screening. - Physical ability to lift, move, and maneuver heavy household appliances.
