Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionJoin our dynamic team as a Welder, where you will be responsible for MIG welding on mild and stainless steel to produce exhaust systems for various industries including power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road markets. Your role will primarily involve custom and production style MIG welding, tack welding, and assembling exhausts. Proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols is crucial for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel.
• Produce exhaust systems for various markets including power generation and marine.
• Execute tack welding and assembly of exhausts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols accurately.
• Assist with fabrication tasks such as operating a brake press, shear, and roller.
• Adapt to various tasks throughout the shop to enhance learning and growth.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in MIG welding.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
• Experience with metal fabrication.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with plasma cutting and TIG welding is advantageous.
• Competency in using a tape measure and brake press.
• Welding experience from farm, school, or previous jobs.
