Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionAs a Welder, your primary responsibilities will include MIG welding aluminum feed trailers. You will be required to climb into bins and weld aluminum parts together, stand and weld, and tack parts of trailers using .035 wire. Additionally, you will need to read and interpret blueprints to determine the required welds, measurements, and positions.Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• 6+ months of MIG welding experience.
• 1+ years of on-the-job welding experience.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• 6+ months of experience welding steel or aluminum.
• Ability to climb into trailers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Interpretation of blueprints.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work different shifts.

The facility operates like a general shop, with cooler temperatures in winter and warmer conditions in summer. It consists of a service department, welding department, and final assembly department. Shift timings are 1st shift (5am-1:30pm or 6am-2:30pm), 2nd shift (2:30pm-11:00pm), and 3rd shift (9:30pm to 6:00am). All candidates will initially train on the 1st shift. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cedar Rapids, IA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
