Job Title: Welder - Entry Level ( RECENT School Completion Accepted )Job DescriptionThis role focuses on fabricating and assembling metal components used in rolling steel doors, grilles, and related products. You use MIG welding equipment, hand tools, and blueprints to produce high-quality steel products in a safe, fast-paced manufacturing environment. 1st shift - 7am-3:30pm, has to be open to OT. Can be doing 1 hour of OT daily.Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel components with consistent quality and adherence to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and drawings to determine welding and fabrication requirements.
• Fabricate, fit, and assemble metal parts for rolling steel doors, grilles, and related products.
• Inspect welds and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and product specifications.
• Operate welding and fabrication equipment, including grinders and drills, safely and efficiently.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances throughout the fabrication process.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe manufacturing environment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area, including proper handling of tools and materials.

Essential Skills

• Previous MIG welding experience and the ability to perform production welding on steel components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and measuring tools accurately.
• Hands-on experience using fabrication tools such as grinders and drills.
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physically demanding tasks throughout the shift.
• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques and familiarity with stick welding.
• Attention to detail when inspecting weld quality and product specifications.
• Commitment to following safety protocols in a manufacturing or shop environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Manufacturing or metal fabrication experience is preferred.
• Experience as a MIG Welder or Stick Welder working with steel components.
• Willingness to learn new fabrication and welding techniques over time.
• Openness to entry-level candidates who have recently completed welding or metal fabrication schooling.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pomona, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
