Warehouse Worker

Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a detail-oriented General Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves ensuring the correct packing and labeling of products, maintaining safety standards, and inspecting products to guarantee quality.

Responsibilities

• Place products in coolers and affix labels to containers to ensure customers receive the correct items.
• Maintain and adhere to company safety policies at all times.
• Visually inspect products, coolers, packaging, and dry ice for cleanliness and defects.
• Follow procedures to reduce or eliminate product damage.
• Lift dry ice from bins to scales, verify weights, and place dry ice into properly sized coolers.
• Reject defective dry ice as per weight, specifications, and packaging standards.
• Identify different package ship modes and affix appropriate shipping labels.
• Perform quality control inspections of coolers to ensure orders are correct and properly presented.
• Record and correct packing errors by obtaining the proper product or premium.
• Inspect coolers at a rate of 75 per hour.
• Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.

Essential Skills

• Experience in packing, production, picking, and packaging.
• Proficiency with RF scanners, loading, unloading, and assembly.
• 6+ months experience as a General Warehouse Worker.
• Experience with inventory, general labor, picking, and using a pallet jack.
• Skills in order picking, warehouse inventory, general production, and warehouse packing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to understand and follow directions accurately.

It is a normal temperature environment, not a freezer. The shifts are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Omaha, NE. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr.
