Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionThe Warehouse Worker position is responsible for loading, unloading, counting, inspecting, storing, picking, and completing orders. This customer service-focused role ensures the maintenance of quality and accuracy standards.Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders according to schedule, including loading, packing, wrapping, labeling, shipping, storing, and preparing for shipment.
• Receive and process warehouse stock products by picking, checking, counting, unloading, labeling, and storing.
• Perform inventory controls and maintain accurate quality standards.
• Complete assigned tasks with urgency, following proper guidelines and standards.
• Maintain knowledge of product storage temperatures and distinguish between products using attributes such as lot number, brand, size, and quality.
• Build pallets properly to ensure product quality and condition, selecting proper items and ensuring secure stacking, storage, and leveling.
• Actively maintain a clean and safe working environment, optimizing space utilization and managing waste and recyclables.

Essential Skills

• Attention to detail to notice product quality and address any issues.
• Ability to consistently lift weights between 50-70 lbs.
• Willingness to complete extra tasks including sanitation, housekeeping, and receiving/unloading.
• Operation of electric pallet jack (walkie).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a cold warehouse.
• Warehouse experience with outbound or inbound operations.
• Picking experience in a warehouse setting.
• General labor skills with mandatory heavy lifting capability.

The schedule includes three shifts starting at 4am, 2pm, and 8pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. Flexibility is required, as shifts can range from 6 to 12 hours, generally 8-10 hours. Expect overtime, with staff commonly working 45-60 hours. The environment is cold storage, with temperatures ranging from 33 to 55 degrees. Proper attire for cold temperatures is essential. The warehouse distributes produce to large grocery stores and school districts. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NJ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
