Warehouse Worker

Job Title: Warehouse WorkerJob DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for stacking, sorting, and labeling boxes, loading and unloading trucks, organizing products within the warehouse, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Additional tasks may be assigned by the production lead or warehouse supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Stack, sort, and label boxes.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Organize products in the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the production lead or warehouse supervisor.

Essential Skills

• General labor experience.
• Experience in loading and unloading tasks.
• Proficiency in packaging, packing, and filling.
• Inventory management and material handling skills.
• Effective communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a small consumer packaging environment.
• Previous experience in a production and/or manufacturing environment.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Metairie, LA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
