Warehouse Associate

Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob DescriptionJoin our team as a Warehouse Picker/Packer and Order Selector in a dynamic e-commerce fulfillment warehouse, gearing up for the holiday season. This role involves picking, packing, scanning, sorting, staging, and preparing online customer orders for shipment. It is a physically active position requiring employees to be on their feet and walking throughout the shift while accurately locating inventory and fulfilling orders.Responsibilities

• Pick and pack e-commerce and online customer orders.
• Use RF scanners, handheld barcode scanners, computers, and warehouse systems.
• Locate inventory using pick tickets, order numbers, SKUs, and bin locations.
• Perform order picking, order selecting, fulfillment, and order verification.
• Scan products and verify item numbers, SKUs, quantities, and shipping information.
• Build and prepare shipping boxes, cartons, packages, and pallets.
• Label, tape, seal, wrap, and stage completed orders.
• Perform packing, palletizing, staging, sorting, and shipping tasks.
• Prepare orders for shipment through UPS, FedEx, and USPS.
• Ensure packages are routed to the correct shipping carrier.
• Maintain high levels of order accuracy and productivity.
• Work in a high-volume, fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Stand and walk for the majority of the shift.
• Assist with general warehouse, distribution, shipping, and fulfillment duties.

Essential Skills

• Experience in picking and packing e-commerce or online customer orders.
• Proficiency with RF scanners and handheld barcode scanners.
• Ability to use computers and warehouse management systems.
• Strong skills in order picking, order selecting, fulfillment, and order verification.
• Capability to handle high-volume, fast-paced work environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Proficient in data entry and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with warehouse inventory management.
• Ability to operate pallet jacks.
• Skills in unloading and handling shipments from FedEx, UPS, and USPS.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison, AL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
