Job Title: Warehouse AssociateJob DescriptionThe Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by accurately picking and packing orders, preparing pallets for shipment, and maintaining organized inventory. This role uses RF scanners, pallet jacks, and general warehouse equipment to ensure products move efficiently and safely through the facility.
Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders accurately using RF scanners in accordance with work orders and established procedures.
- Palletize products according to work orders, ensuring items are stacked securely and labeled correctly.
- Shrink wrap completed pallets to prepare them for outgoing shipment and protect products during transport.
- Stage pallets in designated areas of the warehouse using pallet jacks to support efficient loading and shipping.
- Perform stock replenishment by restocking shelves, bins, and picking locations as needed.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including counting, verifying, and organizing stock.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work area in the warehouse.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Essential Skills
- At least 6 months of production or warehouse experience.
- Experience with general labor tasks in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Ability to use RF scanners for picking and tracking inventory.
- Experience with order picking and packing processes.
- Ability to operate pallet jacks safely for staging and moving pallets.
- Basic understanding of inventory control and stock replenishment procedures.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and stacking products throughout the shift.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or high-volume distribution environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when handling orders and inventory.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong reliability and punctuality for consistent weekday shifts.
