Test Operator

Tensile Testing & Packaging Operator Full-Time | 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM) | Monday-Friday Looking for a hands-on manufacturing opportunity? We're hiring a Tensile Testing & Packaging Operator to join a growing manufacturing team producing high-quality polymer insulators used across critical infrastructure industries. Training is provided for the right candidate. What You'll Do

• Inspect finished products for quality, defects, and overall appearance
• Perform tensile strength testing using specialized testing equipment
• Verify measurements and product specifications
• Read and follow work orders and testing instructions
• Determine whether products meet quality standards
• Separate approved and non-conforming materials
• Complete inspection paperwork and production documentation
• Package finished products for shipment
• Label and prepare orders for customers
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Communicate product, equipment, or quality concerns to supervisors
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

What We're Looking For

• Manufacturing, production, assembly, packaging, warehouse, inspection, or machine operation experience preferred
• Comfortable using measuring tools and following detailed instructions
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to stand, walk, and work throughout the shift
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Basic computer and documentation experience is a plus
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Work Environment This position is based in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. The environment is not climate controlled and can become warm during the summer months. Employees are provided with designated workstations, safety equipment, and access to water throughout their shifts. The facility maintains strong safety standards and a culture focused on teamwork and continuous improvement. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
