  • Read and understand electrical schematics and bill of material structures, and escalate any errors or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
  • Inspect and test subassemblies, verifying mechanical functionality where appropriate and testing for electrical continuity using a voltmeter.
  • Visually inspect components for flaws or damage and promptly report issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with miscellaneous production tasks, including packaging finished goods, material handling and kitting, and general warehouse cleanup and organization.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and actively participate in 5S and other safety and housekeeping initiatives.
  • Regularly perform repetitive tasks and sit or stand for extended periods while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Use manual dexterity to quickly and accurately assemble small parts and components.

  • Follow the companys redline process to clearly document any as-built changes to assemblies and wiring.
  • Maintain accurate accounting of project materials and report any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Rework and repair equipment and products as instructed, ensuring that rework meets quality standards.
  • Participate in the development of work instructions by writing simple work instructions, cut sheets, or assembly notes as needed.
  • Safely use advanced tooling, including power tools, test equipment such as CableEye, and other specialized devices.
  • Identify the need for and assist in the development of tools and jigs that improve assembly processes and ergonomics.
  • Operate and maintain test fixtures, test devices, and test cables used for verification and validation of assemblies.
  • Perform field service work as needed, supporting installation, troubleshooting, or repair at customer or off-site locations.
  • Proficiently navigate 3D CAD or e-drawings to aid in understanding and assembling complex systems.
  • Perform full system cold checks using schematics to complete continuity checks before power-up.
  • Complete company-sponsored high-voltage electrical safety training and act as a qualified worker to safely perform hot checks on new systems, where applicable.
  • Apply advanced proficiency in the layout, routing, and termination of wires for UL 508A electrical panels.
  • Build cables and wire harnesses that conform to IPC 620 standards, maintaining high levels of workmanship and reliability.
  • Assemble 24V safety circuits, including emergency stops, light curtains, status lights, and sensors, to meet design and safety requirements.
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities for the production team and take a leadership role in implementing improvements.
  • Perform advanced troubleshooting on electromechanical assemblies, including motors, cables, electrical panels, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Assume a leadership role on first article projects, guiding the build, documentation, and feedback process for new designs.
  • Act as a leader for the production team by upholding strong values, ethics, and a commitment to quality and safety.
  • Collaborate with the engineering department on proof-of-concept and research and development builds as needed.
  • Mentor and assist with the training and development of less experienced associates, sharing best practices and technical knowledge.
