Aircraft Structures Technician Location: Birmingham, ALPay: $48.00/hrJob OverviewKaiser Aircraft Industries is seeking Structures Technicians to support aircraft structural upgrades and modifications, with a primary focus on Wi-Fi system installations. This role is ideal for candidates with aircraft structures and sheet metal experience looking to work in a fast-paced aviation environment.Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft structural upgrades and modifications
• Install and modify structures supporting aircraft Wi-Fi systems
• Complete sheet metal installations, repairs, and modifications
• Inspect aircraft structures and perform necessary repairs
• Follow technical drawings, work instructions, and maintenance procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation of completed work
• Collaborate with other technicians to meet project schedules

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of aircraft structures experience
• Experience with aircraft modifications and installations
• Sheet metal installation and repair experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and maintenance documentation
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced aviation environment

Work Environment

• Work performed in an aircraft hangar environment
• Hands-on structural modification, installation, and repair work
• Use of aircraft tools and sheet metal equipment
• Team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality
